Charter apparently had a statewide internet slowdown/outage all day yesterday and a lot of other customers were very angry about it. Speeds were sooo slow even the speed tests never finished. Great to see the improvements though.

I look at all these speeds and I think to myself, Damn, Google Fiber can't get up and running in Atlanta soon enough! I'm stuck with this stupid DSL from AT&T which is about as reliable as using a shoelace for a drinking straw. I can't get U-Verse because it's not available in my zip code area.

@TWCJim in SoCal my home internet speed wasn't at 60mbps with Charter... It was also around 30mbps.

One of the rare times lately my internet is actually somewhat working.



For some reason it lists Verizon FiOS as my ISP, but don't be fooled, this is only DSL service from Verizon.

To clarify: the ISP is Comcast/Xfinity, and I might do this on AOL dial-up.
