Lots of Lightning

Modulator.
-
I love the modulators :smoke2: Sadly, my city uses the Federal Signal 2001 and model 5/7.
-
Either the Modulators or the EOWS 612s.
So that's the weird tornado siren sound my swimming buddy in Chicago told me about. I think someone accidently set that particular siren on alternating mode.
-
Chicago doesn't have any 612's.
-
My area has a lot of Whelen 3016 Sirens. ( Don't know if thats good or bad )
-
Charlotte doesn't even have tornado sirens. Whenever a tornado warning is issued, they call other fire stations and they tell them to go around town blaring your fire horn/siren.
-
It sounds like it's going to croak, lol
-
Lansing is divided when it comes to tornado sirens. Most sirens that are in the downtown area or in the relatively close vicinity are Thunderbolts. Most of the suburbs <coughs> escapes from Lansing <coughs> are getting newer sirens, however. My guess is that these sirens are Federal Signal 2001s. Nevertheless, there is a different siren in Haslett, right behind the firehouse at the intersection of Haslett Rd and Okemos Roads. I think this one is the same siren Henry (Hen7713) has videos of on his channel. I will try to get videos soon.

Chicago has a system consisting of 2001-DCs, a couple 2001-130s, and modulators
And that siren is a Modulator, its sounding in Alternate Wail, or Hi/lo wail.

I don't think that we have penetrators here :( in Okemos, we have a model 5 and 2001's. I'll look around for that siren next time I gocto quality dairy, socool.

I'm guessing then that the siren Henry has is a Penetrator?

I have videos of several sirens, the STL-10, P-50s, and P-15s.
Pretty much the whole Kenosha siren system is Consisted of Penetrators, which are P-15 and P-50s(lots of P-50s Yay! :P) (and no those are not the whole Penetrator line, just the ones in Kenosha).
