Title: WeatherStar XL Icons and Background
Post by: jmills on December 30, 2012, 09:06:47 PM
Hello All,

I'm pretty new here so I decided to post this in the gen. disc. forum. I'm 14 years old and have faint memories of the WeatherStar XL. I took interest in programming a few years ago and have now seriously gotten back into it, this time working with C#/C++.

But now to my point,

I was wondering if anybody has the BG to the XL with this first set of graphics. Also, I have some of the XL icons on my computer, but not the entire set.

Can anybody help me locate these resources, I hope to be able to create an emulator for XL v.1, I know it will take a long time but I'm sure it is worth the effort.

Thanks for your kindness,

---Jason

If you look deep enough on the internet there should be some fan-made graphics lying around. However, the authentic XL graphics cannot be handed out due to copyright purposes.

I believe that he custom made his icons but I could be wrong. Look hard enough out there and you may find what you need ;)

Yeah you should be able to find some very authentic looking custom made icons. I believe the actual background was once posted here but since removed due to copyright concerns.
