Is Valentine's Day only for romantic love?
I don't think so. I've given Valentine's to family members in the past.

Is Valentine's Day only for romantic love? Or can it be for any kind of love you have for your family and/or friends?

I wouldn't think so.  I always remember having Valentine's Day parties in elementary school.  It was a good time to show love for the teachers, since we obviously don't do that now. :P  Most of us were also not "in love" at that young age.
