Keep in mind this is the kind of thing that happens slowly. We aren't going to wake up one day to suddenly find the entire Earth to be 4 degrees warmer than yesterday. it will take decades, maybe even centuries to happen. Again, it's not going to be a horrible thing like the media says it will be. It will be GOOD.

How exactly would any of us or the earth itself benefit from global warming?

I'm surprised you all actually believe everything the media tells you.

Pretty simple, actually:

Increased Co2 levels means explosive plant growth, more food for everyone, less natural disasters, etc.

How so?

Well, our earth has fewer and fewer plants every day. Entire forests have been leveled in some parts of the world. Plants only take in so much CO. The rest is left to to float away into the atmosphere.

And as far as his claim that it would cause fewer natural disaster's, I really don't know how he comes to that conclusion-actually, I do-he's twelve going on twenty. Anyway, CO is the very gas that fuels our weather. If there was no carbon, there would be no weather. CO traps heat, which also fuels our weather. More heat and CO equals worse weather, because it has more fuel to grow on.

Yea, that part probably is false.  I don't have a strong opinion either way on this issue to be honest.

Not exactly. Science (particularly atmospheric and environmental science) has always been fascinating to me. As such, I took many such courses in school. So everything I know I learned from taking all the science classes I could. Maybe you should try to learn a thing or two in school-that is, assuming you don't already know all there is to know.

LMAO. this has absolutely nothing to do with education. It has to do with reliable sources.

Getting a formal education on the subject is the MOST reliable thing you can do.
