TWC-Like "LDL" Yearbook Design

I was selected for the yearbook staff at my school next year.  As I was watching TWC on my SDTV, my eyes kept being drawn to the LDL.  I suddenly realized, "What if I made an LDL design in the yearbook?"  I decided to see what it would look like, so I made a rough "sketch" on MS PowerPoint.  This is what it looks like:

Yea, I wasn't exactly sure about the design.  I just posted it to see what other people thought.  At first I thought it was a good idea, so I started creating it on PP, but as I created it I started to question it, so I wanted to see what some of you here thought about it.

I just opened it again and I can't see anything that says "ES."  What version of PowerPoint are you using?
