Title: The Sun Is Too Bright
Post by: beanboy89 on August 25, 2007, 07:17:36 PM
[crosspost from TWC Classics]

First off, this isn't a TWC problem, nor does it seem to be a problem with my cable company or connection...

When I watch Weatherscan with my TV tuner on my laptop, the sunny icon on Weatherscan has a huge glare coming off the right side of the icon.

It happens with all sun icons on Weatherscan, but it only occurs on my computer with my tuner. When I watch it on a regular TV, the sun icons look just fine.

And here is a comparison to the sun icon on the regular IntelliStar:

My tuner is a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 950. Anyone know why this might be happening? Thanks.

Maybe you should change the brightness/contrast levels. :-\

Thats weird. It can't be your TV Tuner, cause the IS sun looks fine.

I have the same tuner, and have had no problems with brightness.
