I hate USB with a passion. If I had to chose a removable mass storage system, it would be FireWire all the way.
Firewire seems to be fading away, though. I haven't seen as many firewire stuff since computers started being equipped with USB 2 ports.

FireWire is an Apple thing. It's for the people who need it.

The same thing can be found on PC's; FireWire is just Apple's name for IEEE 1394. ;)

Even Apple is phasing out FireWire. My iPod nano™ 4G is USB-only, as are many new iPods. It seems they're at least phasing it out on the iPod line. With new Macs, I don't know about having FireWire. I've only seen one new Mac, and it's difficult to see the cords where it is located. :)

Apple hasn't made Firewire capable iPods in quite some time. My iPod, which I had since 2005 isn't Firewire capable.

FireWire is definitely focused on the Mac, there's no debating that. From what Ive read, FireWire support on Windows leaves much to be desired.

FireWire won't be leaving Apple for a long time. It's like how they were with SCSI...

The only one(s) that come to mind are Home Shopping Network and Lifetime, unless your definition of private is different...

I just got my Time Warner invoice, and I almost passed out at my letterbox. My bill is for $275, and I only have standard cable, not digital, no phone, no internet. This is scaring me.  :faint:

My mom is paying 150 dollars for satellite, and I don't even have a million channels or HD.

Yes $150. I don't know why DirecTV is charging so much.  :hmm:
