I am only required to participate in PE in middle school and 9th grade. To graduate, I must take two semesters of "Individual PE", whether it is lifting weights, aquatics, golf, or tennis.

Me too. In 10th grade, I'm outta there.

OMG I am so glad I get to rest over the weekend. :D

My teacher understands where I come from in my feelings on PE, so he gives me some slack normally, as long as I participate. So I can't just sit out.  <_<

Most gym teachers don't, so consider yourself fortunate.

In my opinion, schools should require MORE phys ed. With the rate of obesity in our country, its sorely needed.

I personally loved PE. Especially high school PE. I surprised the teacher quite often with my athleticism. My classmates too.  :D

I can't wait for the new Pieces of A Dream album "Soul Intent" on Feb 24th. There are a few songs that caught my attention! They haven't released an album since Feb 2006. But for some reason, the songs just don't have the "pizzazz" as they used to 5-10 years ago.

I was wondering, but does anyone know how to hook up a camera to the cable box and make it come out like it was recorded on a tuner (like what shaneomac1986 does).

Thanks! :D

I agree.

I don't mind P.E. anymore as much as I used to. Sucks that we have to wear PE uniforms though. :hmm:

This is ridiculous. You should see how expensive our sewage bill is!

We are paying out of our asses for what one person did 20 years ago! He was caught dumping illegally in a creek in Penn Hills Park and the EPA fined the municipality $60 million dollars under the Clean Water Act. The consent decree is the result of a joint federal-state EPA lawsuit from the late 1990s regarding a violation of a permit issued to the municipality's wastewater treatment plant.

  I feel bad.

Yesterday, a friend asked someone to ask me if I would want to go to (late) Valentine's Day dance.

I declined, and I said "maybe next time." I meant it.

So awkwardness ensued between us, and I snapped at my friends all day.

Just after the final bell rang, someone asked her if she was going to the dance.

"I couldn't find anybody that would say yes."

  What should I do?!

What should you do about what? What part of this is troubling you? Telling her no? Hearing that she had no other date? Do you like this girl?

I think you have to tell her whatever your feeling. If you feel bad about telling her no, tell her so. If you feel bad that she had no other date, tell her you didn't know and how bad you feel about it. Is there another dance this school year? If so, make it a point to ask HER to the dance. That is, if you want to go. If you just don;t like dances, tell her so. Tell her whatever's in your heart. She'll like that.

Awwww, poor little guy...
Did you really mean it? I mean, I dealt with this case before. You are making yourself and this person feel bad, and worst of all, you might have missed your chance of going to the dance with this person. My suggestion is to go back and talk to her and explain to her why. And maybe if you are lucky, ask her again.
