Does anyone have any clue on what this might be? This is what I see on channel 122.
Looks like a seismometer...?

It's seismograph, not seismometer, isn't it?
I think technically a seismometer is the machine that sits underground to read seismic signals traveling through the earth, while a seismograph is the graph that the seismometer produces.

So I guess it is a seismograph. :P

What's with people changing their usernames all of a sudden  Can I ask a favor? If you drastically change it, could you let us know so we're not like "who the f**k are ya"? Just a simple request....

I've been told a seismograph was the instrument used to measure earthquakes. Never heard of a seismometer.

Who else has changed their username besides Weatherlover and me? And, thinking ahead, I gave clear notification of who I am because I did make a drastic change to mine.

It's been that long already? I can't wait to see what your new name will be.

BTW, does anyone know why Mike changed from MikeM2010 to simply Mike M. It's a very minor but noticeable change; isn't 2010 his graduation year?

I simplified my name to get rid of any hints on how old I am.

Who are you?

i don't understand the logic behind changing usernames. Register with the username you're totally sure you want, and be done with it.

Changing subjects, anyone taking midyear exams right now? I've taken three so far. I think I got A's on two of them but maybe a C or B on the other.

Yes I took 6 midterms. The science one was hard....I don't know how well I did on that one. I forgot the 2 essays and the info to put in them in the other midterm, I think that pretty much screwed my midterm grade.

I can only wait to take the history one on Monday, that's a subject I have a weakness in and the teacher's style of teaching doesn't help at all. Spanish midterm I'll pass without a doubt, I have a 102% in that class right now as a marking period 2 grade. In fact, I already took the first part of the Spanish midterm, a listening exam, which I got a 97% in.
