Ever since YouTube went to their new uploader, you could upload up to ten videos at a time. There is really no need for the Gears extension anymore.

I tried the new uploader, and often the videos fail to upload. I don't know why it keeps failing. It says unknown error occured.

Most of the copyright claims I get are from "third parties," they don't say exactly who nominated it. I haven't gotten a claim in about two weeks, though.

I've been uploading videos to youtube nonstop since 12:15. They caught and removed 2 of my videos already, and I didn't even put the description. Fortunately, it was the audio not the video itself.

They have some new Content ID matching system that does it automatically. I don't know exactly how it works, but it's pretty good at doing it.

Anyway to tweak (maybe hack) the system?

Probably not seeing as the video/audio has to not have the same match if its compressed differently, i.e. removing data. It must match it on some sort of other level.

It doesn't seem to be getting mine; I have several songs posted on my account that have been removed from other users, but they are still in good standing.

It was Romeo and Juliet by Euge Groove and Into the Blue by Boney James. Both copyrighted by WMG.

It's only a matter of time. I thought the same thing, and sure enough, recently, I've had quite a few removed. It's because they can only scan so many videos at once - and it's a random process of selection.

Could it because you don't have a tuner?

What do TV Tuners have to do with this?

I've been pretty lucky with youtube. So far, the only one that got removed was the Vince Guaraldi song. Of course, I mainly post songs that are composed by indie artists who are quite often, ecstatic to see me post their music on youtube, such as Chris Geith, Scott Ward, and Keyan Williams.

Just so you guys can hate me, I've had a Emulator clip with "Weekend in Monaco" up for almost two years without any action taken.

As a matter of fact, none of my clips have anything on them...I think.

I just hope they don't suspend my backup account. If they do, I'm not going to upload videos to YT anymore.
