That's odd. Sucks that he has it though. Kinda like Gary Papa from WPVI, he has prostate cancer and it came back 3 times for him. He was actually bald on air, never saw him bald before. O_o
I've seen him bald for years now.... I've gotten used to it.

Also, cancer is basically abnormal growth of cells in which their key function is compromised because of this... at least that's what my bio teacher told me years ago...

There's a bit more to it than that, although your teacher was on the right track.

How did he get pancreatic cancer

As with most cancers, there's no cause. It just happens.
Which is really unfortunate :(.

My boss is REALLY lucky at work.  She found out she had cervical cancer in the beginning of December.  Luckily, to get the cancer out, they didn't have to dig much into the cervix to get the cancer out, so there is still hope she can have more kids.

My mom had a tumor in her appendix.

Travolta is a good actor, he even has his own Boeing 707.

At least it wasn't a brain tumor

Well, at least a tumor there is easy to remove.  :D

My grandfather had to have his appendix removed 12 years ago. He's still living okay to this day (along with my two other grandparents), though I wish he'd stop drinking so much, especially at his age (71).

Yeah, appendicies don't do anything.. haha.  Mom mom's bursted into 3 parts, and spread throughout her stomach area.  She was really close to it reaching her lungs.  It was while they were in there, they found a tumor on her appendix.

I've had 2 close calls with my appendix, but they said it was an attack sort of thing..but it hurt like hell.

I don't really know if i said anything about this, but if i didn't...on December 10, 2008 - my position at freddy's was eliminated, by yours truly, meaning i quit.

well, now after less than a month...i went into the restaurant to see how things were goin, I learned multiple things

1) the manager who prompted me to quit my job was let go
2) due to the mentioned manager above, many people quit.
3) one of the coolest managers quit, we were really tight...he reportedly quit shortly after I did.
4) they "needed" a closer. (that was me when i was working there)

so taking this into consideration, I liked working there...the manager let go was a douche. but i'm not really sure if i want to go back, however I picked up an application to reapply (not that i have to)...thoughts? good/bad idea? i don't plan on starting asap, i, as a matter a fact will not be available to work until mid February, i mentioned this in my application.

Go back, but wait until your available to apply. In this economy, employers won't wait.

I found an interesting forum for those looking to ID unknown songs. Not sure how well it would work for those April 2007 tunes, but I think it's worth a shot to post this, they "claim" they can ID any song you're looking for.
