I've heard of this TWCMB. Is it older than Taiganet?

It was shut down. The reason they gave was that it was just not part of their plans, but I think pretty much everyone agreed that that reason is BS.

Zack, the actual answer is no. Taiganet has been around about as long as the TWCMB. Taiganet was originally a site for people who played a game called Counter-Strike. Bill ran a CS server, and that was his CS forum. Later on he started the emulator, and both shared one forum. Eventually he got out of CS and removed the CS related boards. Interestingly, if you look far enough back, some CS related content still remains on the forum.

I reported some very inappropriate posts from TWCMB to TWC's head administration. Less than 3 weeks later, it was shut down. Makes you wonder  if I had anything to do with it. :bleh:

I know it had nothing to do with you. I knew one of the admins (Bill, aka WxHelp) and spoke to him frequently on YIM. From talking to him I feel quite sure you had nothing, or little, to do with it.

We sure were on a roller coaster ride in terms of temperatures. Yesterday afternoon, we were in the mid 40's. By midnight, we went up to 62º when a warm front went through. Just hours later, we were back in the 40's again.

TWC's msg boards were a disaster since like 2-3 years after its debut (I think they debuted in 2000 or 2001). I wasn't surprised at all when I heard the news about them shutting down. I was a member there but I barely posted at all. Trust me, it wasn't worth being there.

So, anyone notice that MySpace removed Project Playlist from everyone's profile? For those not familiar, PP lets you put your favorite songs on MySpace. Apparently the  :censored: RIAA had a problem with it. I wish those dumb SOB's would get a life.  :censored:

It all comes down to greed associated with royalties/money. <_<
