Because those kids who fail and get poor grades in my class do nothing but text message the entier period. Instead of paying attention , they just keep text messaging. Those who do perform well don't text message at class, usually between periods.

That's not true. I text in class and do very well, along with most of the other people I know.

Not many people in my school text in class. Even if they do, the teachers just tell them to put them away and not confiscate them. I never bring my phone to school (in fact, I rarely ever use it at all, it's off most of the time).

I got the paperwork in from GSN... it looks like I'm going to be getting a Sony Vaio CR series laptop valued at $1169.99... I don't know what model # yet.... It has a 14.1" screen, thin, built-in camera, multimedia controls, CD/DVD burning drive... I just sent in the paperwork today... and since it's under $1500, no taxes
