You know what really annoys me? When everyone in class text messages. It's so annoying. They don't pay attention to the teacher and just spend the entire period text messaging. What's so amusing about text messaging?

Text messaging is annoying, period.  I use it sparingly, and usually to communicate very quick messages (for just one reply).

Around here, if you take your hone out in school, you loose it.

yeah really. i don't see how it's really THAT annoying....i'll admit as well i've done it...but only to my college buddies - i never understood why you'd text a friend at school when you can see them at lunch or something.

Back at McGill, a prof of mine attempted to take my phone, I just looked at him, gave a little "Ha!" looked back down and just kept texting But dont worry, it didn't affect my learning!

Quite frankly its none of your business how everyone else does. Worry about making sure you do well.
