I saw a commercial this morning about a all Circuit City Stores closing sale in the Atlanta area. I don't know if they are being serious or if it's false advertisment.

They are bankrupt. They filed for Chapter 11 protection about two weeks ago.

I like Circuit City too. Best Buy is way too expensive. They're not closing any CC's around here but it may change.

They just built a new Circuit City in the new shopping center by my house. No more than 2 weeks after it first opened, it closed. Now THAT's corporate planning.

Best Buy, Circuit city, and CompUSA all suck.

But your stuff online and save a bunch of money. That's WHY those stores are going bankrupt. Everyone orders stuff on the net.

I'll be honest. The only time I shopped any of those stores is Black Friday, because they DID occassionally have some good deals then. But I never shop any of those stores at any other time.
