My gosh this week has been a nightmare. :faint: Ive been so busy with school and other things. I noticed activity and taken a downturn these past few days as well. I guess this is a busy time of year for people. Cant wait for the weekend so I can get some

So I'm thinking of switching my major from Earth Sciences to Geography. When I came here last year, I had intended to do Meteorology (which is in the Earth Sciences department), but after realizing that I'll never make it through all the math involved (I hate math with a passion), I am thinking of switching to Geography. I love looking at maps, and all that stuff, and my current Geography class (Map Interpretation and Analysis) is one of my favorite classes I've taken thus far. Plus, the math involved in Geography is minimal (a few statistics classes, I think).

Good choice in switching to Geography.  I LOVE geography as well.  When I was younger, I'd always look at maps at the store.  Geography has always been an interest.  In 7th grade.. I was in heaven when we made our own maps in our geography class.

Speaking of college, I visited Northern Illinois University this passed Monday, and I must say, I was really impressed.  Great campus.  The Science building is amazing, and has an observatory at the top.  The town of DeKalb is a little smaller than my city, so it'll be easy to get used to.  There was also another kid there, who was also interested in meteorology.  I'm going to try meteorology out, but I want to focus more on the broadcasting part of it, as that is what a local meteorologist did.  Hopefully I can do it.

Also, to Mike (replying to facebook comment):  I did not give up on Panera, my other job offered me A LOT more money, so I'll be returning to that job Monday.

Also.. I am getting a new car Saturday!! :D

I second that. Isn't the space shuttle launching from Cape Canaveral, not Tampa?

how is a computer generated guy doing pullups with The Amazing Race theme playing in the background supposed to be inspirational... I know it's supposed to be sarcastic, but I just don't get it...
