Lots of people in my class wore braces back when I first moved to NJ in 2005. Seems that lot more people in New Jersey wear them than at my old middle school in Bensalem. I have no clue why. I was one of the VERY few who didn't wear them at that time...

I really need to get braces soon (I've been due to get them since 2004) but just don't want to go through that, and don't have the money for it. Some of my teeth (especially the bottom ones) are partially overlapping one another.

I need braces too, but at my age its too late for them. I am NOT going through that now. However, I recently heard about something called Invisalign, which WOULD be a viable option. Invisalign is supposed to straighten teeth like braces, only they aren't metal and their invisible. Something I'll certainly look into at some point.

I don't want braces, even though I need them b/c I have crooked teeth. Braces will kill me.

Invisalign is like 3 times the cost of braces...

For the convenience and painlessness it may just be worth it.

I had braces for 4.5 years, and there was nothing inconvenient or painful about them (except the 6-week interval appointments).

I had to go back an entire 4 weeks progress on my braces just because I moved and changed doctors.

I guess it varies from person to person. I have two friends, one female and one male, who have both told me that their braces were always uncomfortable.

Well, this has been interesting.  The objective?  To record the Final Jeopardy sometime in the next two weeks on the HD/digital signal to get a uber-high quality copy of the R&RJ! Think cue.

The process:
 - fancy desktop tuner, fancy graphics card, uber-fancy monitor, and shitty Windows Vista don't play nice.  Monitor blinks, has seizures, tuner can't tune channels.
 - Bust out the laptop and my Hauppauge 950 USB tuner for only it's second run since buying it in June.  Unscrew the coax cable from the desktop and plug it into my USB tuner (hooked into fancy powerful antenna).
 - USB tuner tunes channels, and picks up two more channels I didn't have before(!!!!).
 - Switch to the small portable antenna that comes with it, and *still* get the channels (normally I'd need the plug-in one.)
 - Head asplodes.

Possibly, but I don't see how anyone could afford it.

You stole my idea. :banned:

But I was going to record it until my tuner locked up.
