Umm people will ignore and knock on my door anyways. The people in my area are rude as :censored:
Just turn out all the lights and make it look like you're not home. And if they do come, just ignore it, or disconnect the doorbell. :P

You can put up a sign that says "I only give out apples", haha.

But I am having guests over to my house tonight. I need to leave the lights on. It'll be annoying to have people knocking on my door for candy while I have a small function.

As for the sign, No. I've had many cases where people just rip off the signs and throw them along the street.

In my neighborhood if the front porch light isn't on they know not to go to that house.

You know what's really fun? Those Tae-Bo workout tapes. We did one of those in P.E. today.

Well, today was an easy day...

First 30 minutes of school was the school Halloween parade
First period was study hall
Math - Did no work. We played the "name that tune" game.
Science - There was a sub so we watched a movie.
English - We worked on essays but she let us listen to our iPods
History - Did an easy map assignment
Spanish - Watched Phillies parade on CSN
Next period was study hall
Last period (special ed. study skills) we played a halloween game.

There was more people at school than I thought, but I'd say at least 300-500 people were out. It was considerably less crowded in the  halls.

my Special Ed. Study Skills teacher a few years ago had an awesome Halloween game, where he had 10 boxes with Halloween like things in there and you had to stick your hand in, without looking, and figure out what it was. For instance, one box had like "human fingers" which turned out to be hotdogs, and the like. I got the highest score that day with 9/10  one of the last things he did before he became the Special Needs guidance counselor 2 months later :( I miss those times...

Same here:

Gym - Tae-Bo!
History - Watched boring video
English - She read one of those Edgar Allen Poe stories
Math - Took a test, then did a word search
Digital Arts - Same ol' nothing.
Resource - Word Search, Internet, sitting quietly
Science - Watched actually an interesting video about where we could live if the earth kicked off.

They played the Ghostbusters song at least 3 times today over the PA system.  :sing:

Do schools still require you to take a foreign language? I know my school dropped that requirement this year.

Here, you are required to take 2 years of language unless your IEP is exempt from taking it.

Umm people will ignore and knock on my door anyways. The people in my area are rude as :censored:
Just turn out all the lights and make it look like you're not home. And if they do come, just ignore it, or disconnect the doorbell. :P
Or shut off the electricity. :P

He already said he was having guests tonight and couldn't do that.  ;)

My method is to simply put a sign on the door saying there's no candy here. If they knock anyway, ignore it.  B)

Yes, two years of the same language.
