I agree that its useful, but only the basics. I don't know about you all, but I've yet to use the Pathagoreon Theorem in my everyday life. Nor do I ever use complex equations. And frankly, most of my math contains numbers, not letters.  :P

I think Geometry is pointless imo...Algebra sure is useful. U need to be excellent in math to learn meterology.

I just got an 95 on my Geometry quiz. We're learning about Proofs and Theorems. I found it be quite easy. Also the first time I got a passing grade on a test/quiz in that class.

Oh yuck! I hate proofs. Now those, are absolutely pointless, IMO.

I haven't gotten anything lower then a B+ on my algebra 2 tests sso far, and I'm the only one in my class with an A.

Wow Derek you must be really smart! I got A's and Bs in my other classes but Math is always the one that stumps me a lot only. I never failed but got Cs and Ds. 3 out of 28 kids in my Geometry quiz are passing.

I have a 92% average so far on my math class. I'm not sure if there are any others with a higher grade or not though.

No, it's not a specfic type. They go over pretty much every type of math.

My highest grades are currently my English and spanish grades, which I both have a 101% average in so far.

Strangely I got full credit or even extra credit in ALL of the assignments in Spanish, including tests and projects. We are basically just reviewing the stuff we did last year, so that's why my grade is pretty high.

Very cool! I used to be very good in school like you guys, but as I got older I just starting doing poorly in several subjects and failed quizzes.

Illinois (or at least, my district) no longer requires you to take a foreign language in high school, starting this year. :o I really lucked out.

For as many immigrants coming into the country these days, you'd think they'd be beefing up the language requirements.
