At school my all time favorite food is the breakfast fruit-filled churros. They're SOOOOO good. So good I'd bang one. :pirate:

A news anchor (a longtime one, I might add) at my local news station was apparently arrested for DUI yesterday. (I'm not kidding - Google it if you want to)

LOL, just goes to show that you never really know a person you watch on TV. There's always a side you don't see on camera.

Is he fired, or just given time off for a while.

Speaking of people on TV.  I visited a local tv station, and got some inside scoop.  Not, the names are fake.  Betty and Joe were dating (both from the same station).  Betty left for a larger market, and Joe's contract was not up yet.  Joe is still there, and I assume that he is staying, because his contract was up in Aug.

That's not the interesting part.  Before Joe came to this area, he lived in another state, and worked at another station.  An anchor from a competing station (in my market), Sarah, also worked at the same station as Joe.  Joe and Sarah, i guess, dated for a while, and Joe broke up with her a little before leaving that station for this one.  Half of a year later, SARAH comes down here.  Very interesting.  (Idk, it sounded very odd the way someone from the station explained to me).  The whole point was a jelious ex girlfriend stalking someone..

From what I've read, the manager of the station still has him employed.

I would fire him if I were the manager, but then again, I'm not. :P
I've gone off on a journey to be a moderator at another forum, but this place will forever remain home for me~

I wouldn't fire him. What he does off the clock would not be any of my concern.

I wouldn't fire him, either.

But, you know how stations are, they are ratings starved, so x amount of people could be upset and not watch, causing the ND or whoever to fire him, maybe.  Who knows.

Your right, but wouldn't it look just as bad to fire the guy for something he did in his private life as it would to keep him?

I'm back guys! I wasn't online in the past 2 days because I was invited to a party at a temple in Delaware.
