If you don't mind me asking someone, why don't you make a new PBS thread?

Saves space/resources. It's not efficient to make a new thread every 6 months.

You can't just delete the older PBS/FP threads?

I have no idea. I noticed that in the past week. I think tw means Taiwan, but I view the English YT.
Click the "Taiwan" link at the top of the YouTube page, and then click "Worldwide". ;) It got set to Taiwan by mistake (I'm assuming).

Let me ask you a question Vic. Would you delete this thread, at the expense of 3300 posts? I think not.

I like the idea of keeping the threads. First of all, deleting the threads would take a huge chuck of posts out of here, plus I like looking at old posts here.

What about just closing the old thread, renaming it something like "Pot Belly Stove Fall/Winter 2007" then opening a new one and calling it "Pot Belly Stove Fall/Winter 2008"? The same format would work with the Front Porch, too.

Wouldn't doing what we do now take up less space on the forum database, though?

Although I'm no expert on this, I wouldn't think so. It would still be the same number of posts, just split up between two smaller topics as opposed to one huge one.

I would really rather leave everything in a single thread. So far I see no convincing reason why I should change that. We all have personal preferences, so that's not a reason at all.

I'm confused as to why people are opposed to the current setup.

I see we have a new member named musikcomposer. I wonder who this might be?
