Yeah but it makes no damn sense for my own city to be on the Getaway. They should put another city like Wildwood, NJ or Wilmington, DE. That's in the Philadelphia DMA.
Why? AC is a more popular destination than Wildwood or Wilmington. Plus, that really solves nothing, as those two places, also in the Philly DMA, would see their city on the getaway forecast. There is no real good solution for this problem.
When I get Fios, I'll be switching to it in a heartbeat.
You'll get weather for Center City, PA.
That's the main reason why I refuse to switch to FiOS (I know, odd reason), but my parents really want to switch so I don't know what to do. I don't want to tell them that I don't want FiOS just because I'm getting a forecast for a city that's more than 20 miles away.
We all know I'm a big fan of localization of the IntelliStars, but when it comes down to it, I'd rather save and get better service with FiOS and deal with a forecast that's not as local as the competition (Comcast). Switching cable providers shouldn't be based on the headend size. Plus, you're only 20 miles away from Philadelphia, that's not bad at all.
