I might be going to colorado springs too. We may be going to the Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park. I'm sure they have a Jr. at the lodges.

Why does the -950 tuner still use the ancient WInTV 2000 application?

I'm going to a small town outside of Scranton, PA at the end of June. I might see another STAR there, but I won't be surprised if I see an IntelliStar or even no star at all.

Because that is Hauppauge's application that works best with the tuner. You can download WinTV version 6 from Hauppauge's site, which has an updated appearance.

It shouldn't. If it does, there's something seriously wrong.

I guess as well. I mean I have the right drivers.

And another question, how much CPU does it use? The tuner runs a bit hot...

I don't understand why some cable companies don't have STARS. That's a bit scary.

It's possible that they can't afford one.

But still customers want to know they're latest local weather.

But if they can't afford it, what are they to do? How about you send them the money? I think not.

I agree with Tyler. If the CC can't afford a STAR, they can't afford one. End of story.

Yes. If no STAR is installed, there will be no LDL.

Useless anyways. Most people get their weather off the internet.
