You have to go through a BMI rep. to contact someone...

So, since HP will charge me $752.11 to fix my laptop screen, I've decided I'm going to buy a screen and replace it myself for no more than $200.

My question is...did anyone ever replace a laptop screen before?  :blushing:

If you have a BMI account, is it possible to get contact info for the artists?
Like Kyle said, only through a BMI rep. Even if you have an account there, it doesn't change anything.

Have you replaced a laptop screen before? It might be tricky if you're not used to it

I guess the biggest thing to ask yourself, is it really worth it? Spending $200 on a computer doesn't seem logical to me. Especially seeing as a new one would be a more sensible decision. Unless its a computer from within the last year or so, the chances of it going obsolete in a year or two would be something to think about.

That would be extremely tough, seeing as every single computer is different. :(
