Yeah the "What does it taste like" part made more sense.

I wanted to try it but I can't find it in the supermarket and there anren't many seafood restaurants

No. They don't produce the hardware, but they play a part in developing and programming the software.

Do they use like a Mac or Dell to set up and configure the STAR or di they just use the unit?

For older STARs, they have to use a microprocessor controller. For the newer STARs, they just configure it either through the STAR itself, or from the STAR's internet configuration.
