I don't think i've ever had a bad experience replacing or installing something in any of my Macs. I'm not sure what it is, but it just seems extremely easy to do, as opposed to other computers.

Back in 2005 I replaced the motherboard and hard drive on an old HP machine. It was so tight working in the case, that I hardly had any room to move around. Also, I looked at my uncle's Gateway before, and it took us nearly 10 minutes to figure out how to open the dang case. I hate those OEMs who make it next to impossible to even get into the case to do anything.

Oh yeah, i can't tell you how many times I've had OEM machines that I basically did nothing but stare at for 10 or 20 minutes, scratching my head, wondering what to do. That's why I said early that opening the case on some computers is a job in and of itself.

Mac's are far better than PC's. In fact, I've owned a few and have NEVER even had to open them for any reason.

Apple's case designs (except for a select few) have always been extremely well-made, and planned out for accessibility. I've also discovered that their manuals are written extremely well.

And seeing as Macs can run Windows, why would you ever need another computer? ;)

True. That's the one thing PC's have that Mac's don't-the ability to build and customize your own computer. With Mac's you have to buy what they make. You can change it yourself, but you can't build your own Mac.

Another thing is that Apple computers cost more than most PC's.

The term "You get what you pay for" really applies to Macs.

I'll agree with that. They may cost more, but they seem to be very much worth the extra cost. Not having to fix the thing on a daily basis is PRICELESS.  :P

Yeah, that's true. You may actually end up paying less because if you had a Mac you would have a lesser chance of spending hundreds of dollars getting your computer repaired.

Are cable company headends located in "offices"

We a little Comcast office on Ventnor so imagine that's where the intellistar unit/headend is?

Yes indeed. Every Comcast office houses a headend.

Cool! I can go to the office and look at the unit!

What else do Comcast office have?
