So here's a fun story for everyone....
I was online and I found out a poker game I wanted to see was on a satellite. So I rolled my chair to the other side of the room and went to go power everything up... I went to go drive the satellite dish west to tune to the signal from the satellite, so I punch in the numbers and the dish moves in the backyard. As I turn on the receiver to watch the feed come in, I get presented with this screen:
To my knowledge, I have not gotten a new access card. So I throw on my coat, and go to get the mail.. I come back, open an envlope from Echostar which has the access card, I pull out the old card from the receiver and put in the new one at which point I see this screen:
This is a normal screen... so I wait...
And then I see this screen:
I found the problem as to why the new card wasn't working shortly after:
Dish was burried under a tonn of snow, and I guess wasn't getting an authorization signal from the satellite
