Tyler, got a question for ya. What was the name of that TV forum I got banned from for defending you? The reason I ask is because I'm trying to register at a TV forum, but its telling me my e-mail address is banned, yet I swear this isn't the place.  :P

TV News Talk. :P

Just register w/ a new email address... they usually don't ban IP addresses. I think you'll like it there... ;)

Then as I suspected this is not the same place, for this place is called TV Heads.

I may join TVNT again, but its going to depend on the people. If the idiots are still being, well, idiots, and the admins seem to still be proactively allowing it, then no I probably won't come back. But if things have changed, even a little, then I'll consider it.

I was once a member of TV.com, but that forum went out of control like the TV News Talk, and the moderation was strict. They banned "game" topics and the like. They also don't allow topics where we just chat, such as "Pot Belly Stove" topics (we had similar threads there called "bored threads"). In addition, the site was filled with ads, had tons of bugs, and was often incredibly slow. I gave up being a member there in July 2006, and told the admins to ban me. I have no intention to come back there.

Me neither, but if I had to pick, it would be strict administration. Forums like this one and TWCC however are perfect; not too strict or too lax. B)

I find TWCC's administration a tad too strict. You shouldn't get warned for every little thing you post <_<

But that place has 500+ members and 2 admins dont seem enough

Yes, but only like 50 of them are active members. The rest just join and never post anything.

There's other ways to become a met without the rigors of math. For example, you could become employed at TWC in some other capacity and then enter their apprentice program. The only requirement then is to go to college to obtain a Broadcast meteorology Certificate, which requires no math. This is the way Jeff Mielcarz is doing it, because he too is no good at math.
THANK GOD!! So if i want to be a producer/ lf music coordinator, i need to go to the apprentic program and get the boradcast degree from college?

Very true. There are members who log in everyday but never post. There are people who log in here once in a while and post. And there's people who have like 1000 posts and all of a sudden leave <_<

Mine is having the same problem. Must be nationwide.
