Hmm.

Sorry, the message board is currently not available at this time. We are in the process of moving to a new database server. Please check again later. Thank you for your patience in this matter.

This forum and Taiganet will probably more busier than usual tonight because of TWCC forum being offline. I suppose that's a good thing for this forum since it has been pretty low in activity in the past few days.

For some reason, they've reverted back to a database backup from Jan. 15th. I don't know why, though. AFAIK, nothing went wrong with the forum.
Not only the forum, but I think the entire site was reverted to a backup, because the update from January 15 is gone.

I've spoken with Matt and can confirm that the site is experiencing technical issues due to the fact that he moved it to the same server I'm on. He didn't go into detail though, so that's all I know for now.

I like seeing the site busy and all, but its a shame that it only happens when TWC goes down. But I don't get that, though, because for the most part TWCC's 2000-current boards seem to be roughly as active as this forum is.

There's other ways to become a met without the rigors of math. For example, you could become employed at TWC in some other capacity and then enter their apprentice program. The only requirement then is to go to college to obtain a Broadcast meteorology Certificate, which requires no math. This is the way Jeff Mielcarz is doing it, because he too is no good at math.

well as of yesterday, my life has ended...our production of Fiddler on the Roof is in the makings and we open a week from this up coming Wednesday. Rehearsals are now expanding to surpass 10pm...about 12 hour rehearsals with about an hour and a half break. My Life for the next week:

Today: 10am-10pm
Tomorrow: 1pm-3pm (just guys, we're blocking the bar scene and "to life" (song). wahoo)
Monday (MLK Day - No School): 10am-11pm
Tuesday: 3:30pm-11pm
Wednesday: 3:30pm-11pm
Thursday: 3:30pm-11pm
Friday: 3:30pm-Possibly Midnight
Saturday: 9am-11pm
Sunday: Noon-11pm

So we're basically stuck at the school for 15 hours a day.

of course this is obviously going to keep me away from my computer, so as of today through january 30, i probably won't be on twcc or twct, or any website as much as i have been.
