For some odd reason every time i watch The Price Is Right, the show just lacks character.

There's no Bob Parker and Drew Carey just can't "spike up" the game

I feel the same way. Drew Carey just doesn't seem to be able to bring to the show what Bob Barker could.

To each their own, I guess.  I think Barker really declined in quality in the last three or four years of his tenure...Drew's taken the show and molded it into his own.

And a little tidbit...all the shows that have been taped so far have been taped and aired out of order, so one day you could see a show from Drew's first taping week, and the next could be from one two weeks ago.  I'd wait to pass complete judgment for a while until we start seeing continuous tape-to-air orders.

*head explodes* :P

Thanks for the explanation, Matt. Today was actually the first time I've watched TPIR since Drew had taken over. I thought Drew did a decent job.

so today, was basically a wacked out day...second period, the school decides we should have a lock-down drill, haha...the administration wanted to keep it on the DL, but also faced the fact that if they didn't tell the student body, they'd text their family and tell them something is going on at the school, so some teachers went through and told their students what was going to happen tuesday during second period, and others were clueless. hahaha. ohhh but it doesn't stop there, around lunch (noon) in front of our cafeteria is a little area with tables, was being closed off to set up a set that eva longoria (yes, the eva longoria) was going to shoot a commercial that involved our spurs dance team, we were unable to get any information on what the commercial was going to be about...there were also Spurs Players (basketball team, not our dance team haha) there as well. come 5th period, the administration refused to let ANYONE watch them produce this commercial...5th period I have choir, it just so happened that my choir director was out so we did nothing during that class, and the music building is literally right across from the cafeteria, we got in trouble multiple times....hahaha then finally gave up. 5 minutes toward the end of class, we had a group of people (30+) that agreed to all barge outside the music building and act as though we were going to our next class (knowing that the administration can't get us all in trouble), by then it was to late, they had already cleared eva and the players from the area and hid them in the cafeteria until the end of passing period....what a day. hahaha.

Well I talked to Dan (Concentric Eyewall) today, and it seems his reason for leaving was that he wasn't interested in current TWC and that he was tired of the pointless posts. I can understand the first one. If your not interested your not interested. But the fact that he's leaving because of the pointless posts really fries me, because its something I hate to see people leave over. It doesn't seem to be an issue on TWCC, but I'll be damned if I can't get it corrected here. I hope others don't feel the way Dan does (though I suspect at least some people do).

Several people on here post rediculous posts, and unecessary posts.

Gary, believe it or not, it is also becoming a problem over at twcclassics as well :glare:

Victor, look around, you'll be able to figure it out ;)

I've noticed the same thing Dan has, and it's not just your posts, it's also others' posts.

But, I just try to ignore them.
