I can guarantee you (and I know nothing about hosting) that its not a local problem, so yeah they are giving you guys a bunch of crap if that's what their telling you. But, on the same token, as a responsible webmaster Matt needs to either get to the bottom of the issue, or if HostGo can't (or won't) resolve it he needs to find a new host. Sitting around throwing insults at them on people's forums isn't getting either done.
