Did anyone receive this Facebook legal notice in their email accounts?
I certainly did, and I ignored it. Although I did some research and there's a civil case going on right now where some person is suing facebook.
I've gone off on a journey to be a moderator at another forum, but this place will forever remain home for me~

Waitwaitwait....that was real? They need to make it look more legit...I totally thought it was spam and just trashed it immediately.

The new graphics were unveiled today during the noon newscast. I had recording problems so I wasn't able to capture the opening of the show, (I'll try to do that during the 6pm newscast today) but I was able to capture the new lower display line along with the new weather graphics/icons they're using. I think it looks really great!

I figured other Gannett stations were likely getting these graphics. Out of curiosity, did WSTP also renovate or get a new studio? WXIA debuts their new set sometime in February, they're in a temporary set in the video.

Long Island, August-September 2012 tornadoes, Hurricane Sandy, Blizzard of 2013, how many places on Earth do you know can get all 3 of those events within a 6 month period?

I'm not aware of any changes to their studio but the last time I watched the set remained unchanged

For those of you who like Dave Schwartz, be sure to like some of the new work he is doing for a startup called Network Weather. Some good ole Dave humor at the end of the video :P

It's good to see Dave back on the air as he loved doing his job.  I didn't think he would be part of a brand new network, but we'll see what happens.

Happy Groundhog Day! Depending on where you live you're either predicted to see an Early Spring or 6 more weeks of Winter.

Good Old Phil says Spring is comin' early, however here in GA General Lee says Winter is here to stay the next several weeks. These two are always polar opposites. Whatever Phil says I always expect Lee to say otherwise. :P

Phil is sort of the "main" groundhog, so I'm more likely to go with what he says over the "regional" groundhogs.  With the way spring already seems to be coming early (60°+ lows in January), the early spring prediction is all too believable.

Groundhog Day is probably the most pointless holiday of the year. Whether he sees its shadow or not, there's always six more weeks of winter. A groundhog can not prove what the weather's gonna be
