I won't be needing the Stove. :P I'm going to Charlotte, and it's going to be in the 80's there!
I think the Front Porch will still be needed here for at least another month.  :P

Scratch that; guess I'm not going after all. I'll still be able to make good use of the Stove back at home. :)

This was a surprise... Chip Carter, the sports director of Fox 13 Tampa was down on the football field of my high school earlier this evening, and it totally caught me off guard seeing him on the field
I've gone off on a journey to be a moderator at another forum, but this place will forever remain home for me~

Speaking of football, who has NCAA '11 for 360? I may say it might be my choice over Call of Duty. I just played with my uncle, Tennessee vs Florida (23/44). Epicness.

I agree with you. I am not fond of cold weather. Summer is my favorite season.

Agreeing with the two posts above, summer is also my favorite season despite the excessive heat the south saw this summer. I actually really enjoy early fall, especially October, because it is a usually a wonderful, refreshing cool down from the intense summer and still has fairly mild temps in the 70s or low 80s for highs (that probably sounds warm for some of you :P). But fall usually starts to take a turn for the worst starting anytime around mid-November.

Fall is my favorite season, I love when the leaves change colors and Thanksgiving come around. This year will be first Thanksgiving in about 5 years where my birthday and Thanksgiving fall on the same day. Summer is my least favorite, I'm sorry but after almost 19 years I still cannot adapt to this heat and humidity.

Actually, for me, winter is my favorite season. :snow: :P I love the snow, especially back in February, because of the blizzard, we had our first snow days since 1999. :D Not to mention it was the first blizzard I remember seeing.

I actually stepped outside during the blizzard. I was only out for a few minutes, but let me tell you, it was intense. There was snow blowing everywhere, and it was very blustery. Oh, and did I mention I saw thundersnow for the first time in my life? :bleh:

Guess who's birthday is tomorrow?

Guess who else got two POINTLESS, NONSENSICAL, WORTHLESS, STUPID demerits because of asking what our homework was? I would have gotten the same amount had I not done the homework...

*mutters to self, bunch of bull, nonsense, garbage*

I got 2 Demerits about a week ago for being 10 seconds late to class...

Demerits need to kill themselves.

Fact aside, this day is gonna be great :)

I never understood any practical purpose to demerits, other than being a great power thrill for the teacher.  And I say this as a former teacher!

I was working on science during our science lesson and I was threatened with three demerits if I did the work, but again, if I didn't I would get the same amount. If you get five within a week, you get an ASD (after-school detention). Fifteen within the nine weeks is a SD (Saturday detention). Over that is a potential for suspension or expulsion. I've also already been threatened with fifty demerits already.

Okay, stupid question time.. The reason I ask, I've never been to a school where they existed. But what the heck are demerits??
