I am so tired..and I dont wanna go back to school Monday!!  I still have to read the last 3 chapters in the great gatsby..ugggggh.  not gonna do that.  maybe ill go to spark notes

Curious question, when you advance to a higher grade, the teachers are older and older. Why?
Kindergarten/preK kids often have younger teachers while high school kids get older teachers. My algebra teacher is only 22 however.  :shocked:

That isn't necessarily true.  My first grade teacher was 40 something.  The year I was in 3rd grade, my teacher turned 53, and my fifth grade teacher was 46.  This year, I've got a 25 year old teacher.  So that is definately not true.

Thunder-one reason: the older folks generally want to deal with older folks, and don't have the patience for a bunch of little ankle biters...errr, kids.

There's no set in stone rule. It's completley a matter of personal preference. The majority of older aged teachers prefer the same type of students. There are those though that don't mind younger kids. My own kindergarten teacher was at least in her mid to late 30's if not early 40's.

A lot of the teachers I had in elementary school (especially the earlier years) were older than most of the teachers I have now. In fact, my assistant teacher from kindergarten and first grades was in her 60's. She retired at the end of my first grade year (1998-1999 school year).

Yep, it seems that teachers have gotten younger and younger over the years. I don't know if its because the older and more experienced ones have left for some other profession, retired, or perhaps something else, but whatever it is, the older teachers certainly have declined greatly.

I know (at least around here) the teachers have forced retirement at 65 if I'm not mistaken.  I think it's some dumb union rule or something..

If the primary observation site is down, will the junior show the second closest observation site? Or will it just show the expired data?
