That is a high fever! You may need to see a doctor. I hope you feel better.

I'm pretty sure Spring finally came here in San Diego, because I've been enjoying the weather like crazy! I hate the indoors now. :D

Martin, if you haven't done so, when you take a nap or go to sleep at night, throw on some sweats, get under the covers and sweat that bad boy out. You WILL feel the difference. (Do take your medicine before you hit the sack).

But won't that lead to dehydration or perhaps even increasing your temperature to dangerous level though if you do that for a long while?  I've never heard about sweating out a flu before, so it seems like a myth.  I've always been told lots of water, lots of rest, vitamin C, chicken noodle soup, and medication are what you need.  You only need a blanket to keep yourself comfortable from the chills when your temperature is elevated.

Thanks for the tip. I actually did something similar and cranked my electric blanket to max. It really does make you feel better the next day! Today I'm 95% back to normal. I even went and sat out at the beach since it was 80F. Summer fever!

That actually worked, Martin?  I wonder how it does.  I'm not sure you could do that for several nights, but maybe one night is okay.

I havent had a major fever since early 2007... i was in 6th grade then, too, but at like 10 AM that day i did get one, i felt shivering cold and asked the teacher to adjust the AC but no one else was cold.. the symptoms faded off but came back just after lunch.. I went to the nurse both times i was cold.. no fever first time, but the second time, I was like 102° :hmm: i had to stay home the day after, too!
