We're gonna be in the 80's UNTIL TUESDAY! ^_^

I hate you so much right now... :club:  It's 32º and snowing right now here...
I hate you now.. Its in the 50s and raining :bleh:

TWC's HiRAD technology is a FAIL once again. I almost have a dusting of snow on the ground and they're reporting Cloudy skies. It's been snowing for the past two hours!  :dunno:

Your airport is reporting mostly cloudy skies, and HiRAD is judging distance from the airport to give its observation. It might be snowing at your house but perhaps not at the HiRAD site.. :hmm:

Ana, I'll trade you for my weather that I observed today while at work:  light freezing drizzle, wet snow, and cold rain. :bleh:

How 'bout some sun? :P (It's rather chilly here, though and I'll be going to Colorado next week where it'll be even colder. :brr:)

Today was a perfect day to do the following: give our dog and kitties a bath outside, do some yardwerk, wash our cars, and do some gardening! I swear I'm pretty sure this will be the last time I'll be doing this before we're back to normal again.

I apologize to anyone who is jealous. :P Need I mention that my little sister set up the swimming pool?  :bleh:

Also, I see some of you created some amazing Christmas-themed sigs. I'll make one when I get a chance. Those days at Graphic Design class gave me confidence to do a sig of my own.

Have fun in Colorado, Andy!

I think I may be the only one here who wants more snow! I want to have a fun time skiing this weekend

And have fun Andy, I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time... despite the coldness  :bleh:

Well, school has been cancelled over here thanks to an inch and a half of snow. The down side is, this eliminates any chance of a review day for exams, which start tomorrow. Translation: we jump straight into exams with ZERO in-class study time. Glorious.

That sucks. Just study your past material and you will be fine. We never really did many in class reviews at my high school.

School cancelled for me today. I understand why, though. total snow accumulations of 4.5 inches, blowing and drifting snow, and sub-zero wind chills.
I've had a scratchy voice since Saturday, so I'm glad I have an extra day to the weekend.

There were times last night that visibilities were near zero at Munson Park and Custer Airport. Heavy snow, and 35+ mph sustained winds. I have a few videos of it, I'll try to upload them later today.

We usually do reviews, THEN the exams back in my late high school days. (because our classes were an hour and 30 minutes long lol). Take Martin's advice, Plane, and you'll be just fine. I bet today's a GREAT day to study.

You'll be alright if you follow Martin's advice.  I didn't have many reviews in high school, and you don't find them a whole lot in college either.

I found these sentences embedded in some flood statements from a few weeks back.

... INCLUDING RESCUE PERSONNEL WHO HAVE TO COME AND GET YOU OFF YOUR CAR HOOD. PLUS... YOU END UP ON TELEVISION THIS WAY. ...

DRIVING INTO FLOODED ROADS IS A GOOD WAY TO DIE. BETTER TO BE LATE THAN END UP ON THE NEWS.

As far as I know, Morristown is the only office that has written advisories with sentences like this. I like the unique way of portraying the danger.

Can somebody please throw some extra wood in this stove?  I'm freezing cold!  I can imagine how some of you in the East feel as well.  The weather conditions I experienced this morning while launching a balloon are given in my latest post within the current weather topic if you dare to look.

Exams and snow!

Yesterday we had a partly cloudy day in the forecast by the NWS and local meteorologists. A decent upper level disturbance gave us snow all day and about an inch everywhere. It made it bearable to go out and take my exams :P
