My iWitness weather pic aired at 9:10 PM this evening! It was of this morning's freezing fog.   B)  :)
Congratulations :) I am sorry I missed it but I am glad you made it on air!!
Thanks, Martin!

I don't know why, but today, I've been feeling mildly depressed. It doesn't make sense, because in retrospect, today was just flat out awesome. Good grades (Patrick, physics went through the roof), beautiful weather, everything worked out in my favor. But I'm still kinda sad. Or maybe I'm bored, and I'll snap out of this by tomorrow.

On the upside, my senior project for school is done. My original plan was to build a weather station, but the school wouldn't help with the funding. So, I had to settle with a forecasting website for the school. I finished it just a half-hour ago.

I'm starting a new thread about it in the General Discussion thread. I hope you'll check the page out and help me improve it.

When you've gone through a large wave of stuff to do and suddenly find everything done for a while, you can get pretty bored to the point of restlessness.  Just wait and see if it goes away.  You don't have to worry about it unless it persists for over a week.

For a little random weather fun, how would you react if this was your forecast tonight?

Ugh. i come back to school, surprise fire drill 4th period, then they test the alarms for 5 minutes in 6th period. It was report card day too and supposedly a good day? idk, fml  :P

Clear overnight with areas of smoke? What, is this from the wildfires in Arkansas and Oklahoma? Either way, that's really odd that a forecast would say "areas of smoke."

In sports news, my school is playing a really good game against our biggest rival. The score's 14-14, at the moment.

That was actually my forecast back on Tuesday night.  It sure verified as everything became smoky that night to where you couldn't see more than a couple miles, and it was even a little hard to breathe if you were outside too long.  A brush fire formed that night within five miles of the town, and it took two days for the firefighters to contain it.

So, for those who are in school, who has Veterans Day off? Apparently for my college, it doesn't exist on their calendars (therefore I have school.)  :club:

Sorry for the late reply. I'm catching up! ;)

Our elementary and middle schools go to the Veterans Day parade, but the high school doesn't. Of course, the HS band goes so they can march and end up being sweaty all day. Yuck!

Everyone usually does get really busy during this time of year in high school and college to cram everything in before the holidays.  I could almost write a book on the ebb and flow of a school year. :P
