That's the same length of my Winter Break. Our Thanksgiving Break goes from the 24th - 29th. I always disliked the way the Thanksgiving Break is set up, We have school Monday and Tuesday then were out until Next Monday. We might as well be out the whole week.

I used to when I lived in PA, but I think the four day weekends we have here in NJ in early November (due to the NJEA convention) prevents us from having off on Veterans Day.

As for my holiday break, it's from Dec 23rd (half day) through and including Jan 2nd.

Yes, I have Veterans Day off.  I'll be visiting the University I am transferring to in the fall :)

My winter break runs from December 17th through January 17th.  However, I only get to enjoy about 16 of those days, as I am taking a winter class :(.  Oh well, you do what you have to.

I am jealous of those with fall break.  I was spoiled with fall break in high school, but I don't have that luxury at the community college.

Mine used to start on or around my birthday (the 19th), back in high school. I miss having a week off of school for thanksgiving. :(

I do follow college football but I haven't heard about the scandal till now. Reminds me of what Reggie Bush did back when he was at USC.
