It's gonna snow here this weekend....and it's been mid/high 60s the last few days.
Not any huge deal, but yeah, we are in for a few flakes (mostly tomorrow nite here). Lansing's monthly snowfall average for March is 8.5"... and I don't believe that has been reached since 2002. Ah well, hopefully we get that last bang of the year like we always do in April.
Anyways, today, after looking it up, I discovered I have a condition called Temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ). For the past couple of months, I've been noticing how occasionally when I yawn, my jaw pops right below my left ear, and it then becomes incredibly hot and inflamed below my ear for a few seconds. It's irritating, lol.
Also on the subject of today, Earth Science was a bit fun. We did a "sun poll" as a class activity. Basically our teacher allowed us all to pull out our cell phones for it. How it works is that there is a powerpoint that she downloaded, which connects to the internet. As we get to a slide, a question is asked. We text a code to the number. As the text is sent, it automatically appears live on the powerpoint. It was really fun, and imo,
that is the kind of effective review I would love to see other teachers take note of.
