Yeah I seem to be getting the short end of the stick here... and what a short end it is.
Let us folks who rarely get snow get some for a change :P

I should be the one complaining Martin, you already got your 6 inch+ snowstorm.  :P :bleh:

Martin, I don't understand. Virginia seems like a place that would get a lot of snow in the winter...I guess it's not. :dunno: Maybe I need to brush up on my weather-knowledge.

Normally things would be good. My area averages 7in of snow per season. However the last time we even saw more than an inch of snow was 6 years ago! So we were overdue for this one :)

So, I'm moving into my new room this weekend. My sister moved out last weekend and the room she had is empty. I'm going to have a much larger space than the one I have right now. Which is awesome, though. I NEED my privacy!  :bleh:

Also, my laptop battery is dying, as in, it needs a stupid replacement. Great. I'm gonna have to wait till March to buy it. not sure how long is it gonna run with power-only. So I may be on iPod or PC more often from now on.  :hmm:

Today seemed awfully quiet around here.  I wonder if a lot of people got swamped with work this week.  I've had such a quiet week so far that I was able to finish my taxes last night and mail them today.

Right now I am taking a break from all the projects I've been working on for both classes. I have a paper due tomorrow, and ANOTHER on Thursday. It's been a restless week so far, and I can really use some sleep. Hope you are well, Patrick btw. :)

As much as I love shoveling snow, I absolutely hate shoveling wet snows less than 2 inches. They get packed down, and it's a hassle to get the snow shoveled up.

Also, I'm glad I'm in the TV Media Issues class at my school. They put out some pretty funny stuff!

I love the beginning there :P

Aaron--what exactly do you learn in your TV Media issues?

Right now, as it is only the first week in the class, we are learning about media and how it affects our lives. We're also discussing how technology has advanced, and how it could advance further. This class is the prerequisite for the advanced class, which is what people of Haslett and the E.L. see on TV. So later on, we'll be making videos with a software called Final Cut Pro (Apple's version of WMM, which is far better). It's pretty interesting, imo
