I'm getting a little tired of hearing about this. I understand what Chesley Sullenberger did for his crew, and that was an incredibly admirabal action. But really? The commemorating of this for so long (the interviews, awards, etc, months after the fact) is a bit excessive.
Media has to harp on something. Yes he was a good pilot, yes what he did was great but I don't need to be reminded of it a year later.

While the media may play it a little too much at times, you wouldn't be thinking that way if you were on that fateful flight a year ago.

Makes me expect that the media will announce the anniversary of the missing "balloon boy."

Well, at least it's not as bad as the death of Michael Jackson. :whateva:

I believe it was the father of "balloon boy" who for 10 seconds, I barely saw on The Today Show some time over break I think. Man, we get it pal, you don't think it was a hoax. You don't have to say that every other sentence. At the end of the interview, Matt Lauer tried to transition into the next segment, and he did what they always do when they're done interviewing someone on-air (So and so's name, thank you-). The guy interrupted him. I couldn't even watch that much of it, and wow, I'm glad I missed most of it.

Oh my goodness, that whole "balloon boy" story was so crazy. They had the heart of millions only to discover that nobody was ever in the balloon. I also feel bad for TWC that they covered that ALL day. I wish I missed it.

I just had my internet service down for about 20 minutes. Went through a long process of resetting my modem and router.

I get these "monthly router resets". So far it has not happened to me. It means my internet is down until I do some resetting of my modem. It really sucks.  <_<
