What I don't understand are those "legal" ads that say "have you or someone you know committed suicide while on [insert drug here]"... I mean, if you committed suicide, how is legal aid gonna help you? I don't remember which drug this was, but I was like

Duuuuuuuude... where did Winter Break go? I feel for some of you who have to go to school tomorrow.

Those ads are pointless. There are times, though that I think they are scams and they are just so hungry on money. I don't trust those ads at all.

It was that stop smoking drug Chantix, the point of those is to get the family of the deceased to sue the drug maker. I'm sure in the end the Lawyer fees are so high that it's a moot point.

My Dell laptop with Windows 7 is having serious issues with Explorer crashing every time I right click on anything once the laptop has been running for a few hours.  The Dell technician and I went through a clean install after my own efforts failed to solve anything, and the crashes still came back after I barely installed a few programs.  He suspects that the driver for my new Dell printer could be the culprit as it may not be compatible with Windows 7, so he uninstalled it today and will call me tomorrow to continue fixing my laptop.  I just hope things get worked out here as my 2010 is off to a horrible start after being turned down yet again for a NWS job and now this mess. :(

I am just the oposite, Ana.  I am about to complete my last couple days of the 12 day "minimester" of speech.  I am about to give a speech on global warming.  After practicing it just moments ago, 3 times, i am going to ROCK this speech. I can't wait.  AND..it is suppose to snow tomorrow, which is an awesome example of misconceptions of global warming.  My professor, for some reason, thinks school will be cancelled tomorrow, but I highly doubt it will.

Hope all is well with everyone!

Did you try using a different web browser like Firefox? Internet Explorer often crashes or slows down here a lot too.

He's talking about Windows Explorer, not Internet Explorer. Windows Explorer is the Windows shell.

Stephen is correct.  I haven't experienced any problems with Internet Explorer.  Furthermore, there's a possibility that Firefox might be causing the crashes as it was the last thing I had added to my reinstalled operating system before everything went wrong, but I won't know for sure until the Dell technician and I do more testing starting tomorrow.  The faulty printer driver is only one possibility out of several other programs that could be conflicting with my Windows Explorer.

Hi all! Long time no see! And wow has the forum changed (and grown!) since I was last here! Hope everyone's been doing well. I've been great myself. My life has changed a bit once again, and it looks like I'm gonna have some time to spend at TWCT once again!

I'm glad to see the forum doing so well, and I look forward to being a part of it again!  B)

And to those who don't know me, I'm Gary. I'm the original owner and founder of the site and the original admin of the forum. I stepped away awhile ago because I just didn't have time to spend here. I handed things over to Martin, and he and his staff seem to be doing an excellent job if I might say so.  Good work you guys! Keep it up!  :)
