I'm sure this makes Mike as happy as it makes me furious
hehe, you bet I am My friend and I were tracking this storm all day today. 8 to 14 inches of snow in the forecast here now.
Seems like we both keep getting screwed Aaron, today is the third time this month we have been in the 30's and up getting nothing but a COLD, RAW RAIN. I'm getting pretty tired of this keep happening, I rather it's just be sunny outside it's not like we haven't had enough rain this year anyway. This is turning out to be EXACTLY like what the Winter of 2006-2007 was and that's not good.
Yeah, it is helpful to know I'm not the only one getting screwed, although it sure seems that way. AFAIK, I am further from the ocean than Philadelphia, and typically snow comes here before it comes there. This winter it's all topsy-turvy
I mean seriously, Houston had a Winter Storm Warning, before I even saw my first HiRAD guess of snow? And now, when it has been almost 5 years (as of Jan 22) since I have seen a 10 inch or more snow, Philadelphia could see over a foot.
You've got a point Tavores, which is only making me realize my fear for this winter. The last El Nino winter, '06-'07, was awful. I mean really, everything combined that winter to make it horrible, ya know? I also find it funny that the big storm last week took almost the exact same track through Michigan as the storm in the beginning of December '06 took. Funny, right?
