I used to get a full week off from high school for the Thanksgiving break, but I believe that has changed to just Wednesday-Friday now.  I know Wednesday-Friday was what I had off consistently during college.

I wish I get a full week off like I used to. Stupid IVC who loves to torture us students.  <_<

That's how it's been for us here since I was in Kindergarten, but there are schools in neighboring counties that are out the whole week.

Yeah, I've got a load to do in the short three days, but as Patrick said, it is to be expected.

I've aways had Thursday/Friday off, and a half day on the Wednesday before, which in HS, was a school-wide testing day.

so, i'll be living in our on-campus studio today...(since my classes were canceled)

I'm in the process of making a talk-show that will be called "Great Day San Angelo" for my TV Production course, it'll be fun :) haha

Wow! I do wish ya luck. I feel ya for the class cancellations. I can't miss another day of math class since I used up all my absences. I hope neither of my midterms today don't get cancelled or I will go crazy!

Ah that sucks, hope you feel better soon! I've had a sore thought for a few days but I don't think it's a sign of being sick.

I was just having a retro moment. I discovered there was a thing called the "NES Test Station" that the NES authorized service places had that you could bring in your accessories and have them tested, here is a vid from a collector who found one...
Nintendo NES SNES Test Station Service Center

Also has anyone here heard of the "Sega Channel"? It was basically a cartridge you'd plug into the Genesis, screwed a cable line into and you could download all the games available for $15/month. I wish I would have known about it when I was that age! Here's a promo for it that has some parts with Nick Arcades' Phil Moore...

Ahh what I'd give for it to be 1995 again... sigh...
