I think TIME is the reason why the forums have been slow.  Nobody seems to have time any more. Like others have mentioned, TWC is going through a time where NOTHING is happening.  It is all the same from day to day. I know I don't even touch the game room.  I don't see how some of those topics can even be considered "games"
Perhaps its time for me to go in there and clean up some things. I'll think about doing that. I agree though, time for everyone is shorter these days! My main concern is to loose people completly! I hope that despite the low activity people are still willing to come back when they have some time. I don't want this place to reach the levels TWCC has been seeing.

Martin, feel free to do whatever you want, but if I were you, I would look into posts from June 26th through today. ;)
I've gone off on a journey to be a moderator at another forum, but this place will forever remain home for me~

Maybe we should pool our money together and buy some ad space on the crawl...

Ugh, I was expecting that this week would be busy, but I am now left with nothing to do. Two of my midterms (I was supposed to have one today for Beginning Algebra, and tomorrow for Political Science) were postponed till next week. Then, the school's wireless internet is shut off just because of a stupid Karaoke event going on today. It's been spotty all week, having to do the work on the library computers. Then, I got an email today saying that my Financial Aid disbursement is delayed for the 2nd time, now I have to wait TWO MORE WEEKS instead of this Friday to get my college money. I just feel this week is just a pointless week to go to school, and I should have gone to Ensenada this week than last week, since I had plans last week.  :furious: :chair: :finger: :censored:  :pinch: :nono: :hammer: :club:

yeah, the college administration offices can be just as stressful as taking classes. lol

on october 25th - the women's high raise dorm is scheduled to be demolished (10 stories), and with it -- technology failures. or they're expecting to have some. so oct 25 should be an exciting/interesting day.

It's been getting rather cold and lonely here in Albany, so I'll be moving back home to WV with my family on October 23.  My lease is expiring at the end of this month, and I still haven't had much success with the job search yet. :(  I'm still trying to land a NWS job although things are going very slow now.  I was just turned down again during a recent interview, so things aren't going well for me.  I won't be online during the later part of next week as I disconnect everything.  Hopefully, I'll be able to return here just before Halloween.

Keep your head held high, Patrick.  Something has to give some time.  After nearly 2 years, my father finally found a (bette) job.

Thanks for the kind words and best wishes on my move.  Many of you within TWCT are my only friends that are still in touch with me as all my real-life friends have moved away from here or are unavailable as they're so busy, so I really appreciate the support from everyone here.

So I was at the library today (and using the computers there since wifi there was ugh.) and one of the computers had XP instead of Vista. It was pretty cool. Plus they had Firefox in them! :O I tried out the firefox, and OMG, I wish I had this browser........
