I noticed that audio has only been coming out of one speaker since I got this computer last December (you can barely hear anything on the other speaker). I got new speakers and am still having this problem. Could this be something wrong with my sound card? If so, how difficult would it be to replace it?

Do you have another speakers you can test it on? The same thing happened to my old speakers, but my new speakers get the audio from both left and right.

It's either your sound card or the drivers for it. If its an actual sound card, and not built into the motherboard, then replacing it is a snap. Built-in audio cannot be replaced. You would need to disable it in BIOS and install a sound card. But first, the drivers. Do you have the latest drivers for your sound card installed?

I prefer wireless.  Maybe it's because I have a small workstation and need the desk space for books on occasion.

Shockingly, the best wireless keyboard/mouse set I've used (and I've gone through about four) is the Microsoft set that I'm using now.   :dunno:

Man some of you guys out east would be laughing at this. We got a pretty much trace of snow and school got delayed 2 hours. There was nothing on the road at all.
