I heart S-Video.
HDMI/DVI (the same thing, except HDMI has audio also) > Component > S-Video > Composite

The only thing that sucks...my new HDTV has two HDMI ports and one component input (along with composite/s-video and VGA).  I currently only have components with composite cables...

(When two of the components are SNES and N64, I think I get a pass on "outdated cables".) :)

It could be worse...I once used an RF modulator for my gaming consoles, and I asked for its disconnection due to PQ issues.

So did anyone forget that today was the one year anniversary of the TWC meltdown?

Yeah, it really doesn't feel like it was a year ago already. Pretty weird.

I found an amazing picture on CNN iReport of a user taking pics of a funnel cloud right over downtown A.C. I actually am very close to where that cloud formed. (I didn't see it though :P )It never touched down. This occured back in 7/27/08 where we had nonstop lightning and thunder for over 4 hours. The temp also dropped from 86 to 71 degrees in 10 minutes. I don't think I've ever seen a funnel right on the shore, just on the mainland.

It's "The Seismology Channel"- devoted to recording and tracking earthquake activity.

It's seismograph, not seismometer, isn't it?

At any rate, on my analog televisions, I get that channel... I thought it was a measure of your cable's signal strength  :dunno:
