Offended by being called a computer nerd? That doesn't seem very insulting to me. 

Anyway, regardless of RAM I highly disagree that Stephen would be better off with Vista. My brother has had it for some time and has hit numerous road bumps during that time. Until Vista has been around awhile and the kinks have been worked out I'd hold off on it.

just because someone knows what RAM is doesn't make them a computer nerd, if I were stephen i'd be deeply offended...anyone who is everyone should know what RAM is if they own a computer (which is part of the basics)  

we dont learn about RAM in my computer class. We stragithforwardly learn to use After Affects and Adobe Premiere and the simple basics of Using Word and Excel

True i dont have Vista either. It's only a year old, i'd give a couple more yhears before the bugs and kinks are cleaned

Matt certainly made it seem like he was mortified that you acted so stupidly here, as if you didn't do it there. Seems to me that you act there precisely the way you do here.

I dont get it. My behavior is the same in both forums. I got upset the other day and Tyler nearly locked a topic b.c of me.

That certainly wasn't the impression I got from Matt. The impression I got was that you guys acted much more obnoxiously here than you do there. We went over how I run things the same way he does, yet get different results. And his exact response was "IF that's really what's happening, then they sound really obnoxious. I don't know why they'd be like that there, because they don't act like that on mine".

yeah..nobody has the right to go around and call other people names (i thought that was back in elementary school, not high school)...you can say i'm a hypocrite because I do it myself, but only when I'm in pissed mode, i wasn't offended, just a hint that if you call me a name (other than my own), i'll fly off the handle  ...then again, i tend to fly off the handle for no reason.

i'm always called an airline geek for my incredible knowledge of airports and the airline industry.
