I have to get up at 6:15 every school morning to take the bus. Sometimes my dad drives me to school.
That's nothing. I get up at 5:10 AM weekdays.

My mom is still asleep when I leave for the bus at 6:40 AM, so she has no way of driving me. Of course, I could walk there, but I'd have to leave at like 6:00 to get there on time. :P Even if my mom drove me, I wouldn't really get much more sleep. The schoolday starts at 7:30 AM and I like to be at school by 7:10.
Yeah to go online...:P

I'd love to go online early in the morning, but there's no one why I can concentrate online after still waking up from a deep sleep. Plus my parents won't let me use the computer early in the morning. They only let me use my VCR, which has an auto-record feature, so It records the overnite playlist songs while I'm asleep.

Nice. I may take a picture of the Burlington fire station Thunderbolt, it's 40 miles from where I live, and the only Thunderbolt in the state of NJ. <_<

The closest Thunderbolt to me is the Jerstad School Thunderbolt in Racine, Which I also took pictures of.

There's a lot of Thunderbolts out here.  Barrington had 2, but as of May 2008, one of them has been replaced. Not sure about the last one.

They are a rarer version of the siren, though.

At least ya'll have sirens in the Northeast. Neither Virginia or Florida has sirens. <_<

Most of the sirens here in Philadelphia are for fires; I don't know of any tornado sirens here since this area isn't prone to frequent tornadoes.

Vic, if you want, I can try to capture a picture of that siren on top of the Burlington Fire Station. I'll be passing by it tonight.

Is this the one you're referring to?

If so, I've seen that. It's near the corner of US-130 and CR-541 (High St.) in Burlington City. Not sure if that is used as a tornado siren too, though.

I think Florida has some sirens at fire departments.

At least I have P-50s a whole system of P-50s :P

Pretty much every state has some sort of sirens.

Check out this page. It's been around forever, been has pretty much been abandoned for a while:

http://jmarcoz.com/sirens/sirenarchive.htm

I have a decent number of pics on there. I also have pics from Federal Signal's headquarters, in University Park, IL. Pretty cool place. :D
